Double Standard?
Do you believe a double standard exists between the firing of Juan Williams and Rick Sanchez? Williams was fired by NPR for his controversial remarks about Muslims prompting conservatives to run to his defense claiming his dismissal was unjustified. NPR Chief Executive Vivian Schiller apologized for her handling of the situation but stood by her decision to let Williams go. Sanchez received his pink slip from CNN after he made comments about the Jewish community and quietly faded into obscurity. Inflammatory remarks about two different groups of people generated two different reactions. Thoughts? Comments?
